  1. Overcast Networks Gangs

KOS

For any hostility to be initiated on another gang, there must be valid reasoning behind it. Within the org leaders discord there will be a KOS calling channel where org leaders will be able to use that to call a kos on another org.

  • Org leaders call kos on another gang in the calling channel with a legitimate reason as to why they are calling for a KOS.

  • If your gang is called out for KOS by another for accepted reasons you cannot deny it.

  • The KOS will be ONE round and done unless both sides agree to multiple rounds 3x rounds max.

  • ONE life only, once you die you cannot return to the same sit.

  • Org leaders also use the channel to announce when either side is wiped.

  • Negotiations can be made during this, you can ask but cannot demand requests.

  • All gangs have access to the /kos command that will put both sides into an official. You will use the kos call out channel to notify out of city to give both sides enough time to accept in game kos call out.

  • If you do not use the kos call out channel, any current beef is constant until it is taken to the call out channel.

  • Once kos call out rounds have been finished you cannot rob the opposing gang directly after as once the rounds are finished you need an entirely new reason to initiate hostility on them.

Once the kos is finished all beef is to be dropped, you will need an entirely new roleplay reason for wanting to start beef.

If two orgs are currently in beef and there is active shooting but you have not used the call-out channel, other gangs are able to initiate hostile on your gang. Use the call-out channel when going into a KOS with another gang to prevent interjecting. If the conflict is a Org Management approved KOS then you will not be allowed to be robbed.

Forced KOS

If an organisation requests an official KOS against another gang and the opposing gang declines it. If sufficient evidence is provided by the gang declaring the Official KOS as to why it should be forced after one side has declined, Org Management will take all evidence and deliberate then decide whether it is to become a Forced KOS If a forced KOS is approved the declining organisation has the opportunity to forfeit and pay demands.

Constant KOS

Constant KOS is where a declaration of vendor or turf war has been deemed successful. Both sides will be placed in a constant KOS right up until the war itself.

  • If attacking side forfeits you are to pay 10mil dirty.

  • If defending side forfeits you lose access to begin the vendor war at your vendor, you will have to start from your compound.

  • Standard KOS rules apply.

  • All hostile RP is permitted: Compound breaching, Handsing, KOS.

  • All tagged members must be in clothing/identifiers when IC when their gang is in a constant KOS.

If one side forfeits all hostility is to stop immediately until the Vendor War.

Handholding

Handholding is in regards to two or more gangs fighting another gang/gangs and is not permitted in Overcast. This includes compound breaching, if you breach a compound and see another gang already in the process of a breach your gang must leave immediately.

Vehicles during active hostile roleplay

  • Gangs must have set vehicle colours.

  • Gangs must have set helicopter colours.

  • You MUST only be within your own gang coloured vehicles during any gang hostile. If you are seen in another gangs car or in a colour other then your current gang coloured vehicles you will be kicked from the server and your gang will receive a large fine.

  • 1x Hostile helicopter per gang - Must be in gang set colour - 1x per round.

  • 1x Scout helicopter per gang - Must be in WHITE and must follow scouting rules. This helicopter cannot be used to enact any hostile RP(shooting) - 1 per round

  • 1x Havok helicopter during any gang hostile per round

  • 3x Hellions per gang max during any form of gang hostile this includes but not limited too: KOS, shootouts, gang related events, community held shooting events, vendor wars, vendor declaring. You must manage the amount of hellions your gang has pulled out at all times. Hellions must always be in your set gang hostile colours at all times. If you are found exceeding the amount or with hellions in the wrong colours you will be kicked from the server, gang fines applied and run the risk of your hellion being impounded for an extended amount of time.

Scouts during KOS

Scouts are not allowed to be in gang colours/identifiers. Beware; Scouts are able to be held up and robbed by opposing gang. You must declare on scouts before shooting, giving them the chance to leave the area or they will be killed.

  • 4x Per gang.

  • Scouts are allowed too gather intelligence.

  • Give callouts on locations.

  • Picking up downed individuals as long as they do not interfere with police/opposing gang.

  • Scouts are not to shoot or sabotage the other gang E.g. Moving vehicles.

  • Scouts are not to be apart of the convoy.

  • All scout vehicles must be a separate colour from the gang set colour.
