Business Guidelines
Ownership Applications:
Citizens must be active whitelisted workers to apply for ownership of any business or to put forward any proposals for such.
Business Managament can assist in placement in existing businesses for those with exceptional proposals if direct application to such is unsuccessful. Please open a ticket within the Overcast Business discord to discuss further.
Management Restrictions:
Owners and managers are not permitted to be eompoyed by any other business.
Any changes in business ownership must be approved by Overcast Business Managers, regardless of if any monetary transactions are involved.
Staff limitations:
All businesses are limited to a total of 15 workers.
No more than 2 members from the same organisation or crew may work in one business.
Opersational Requirements:
Businesses must be open a minimum of 2 times per day.
Each opening session must last atleast 15 minutes.
Workers must not close the business less than 15 minutes after their most recent opening announcement using /ad
Business Attire:
Branded business attire must be worn at all times while working.
Business attire will be provided by the city.
Business Conduct and Resource Use
Players are prohibited from exploiting their businesses or abusing any abilities through the job menu, in accordance with out community and server rules.
Business-related resources - Including job equipment and access to uniforms must be used strictly for business purposes only.
Legal Compliance:
No criminal conduct is to take place on site.
While businesses are considered legal, they are not exempt from law encofrment action if the above is ignored and evidence gathered deems necessary.
Corruption is strictly Prohibited under all circumstances.
Staff restrictions:
Staff are not to be on-site in Organisation (Org) attire at any time, even while off duty.
Fines will be imposed on businesses at the rate of $100,000 per employee caught wearing Org attire.
Discord Management:
Business Discords are kept to a professional standard. Managers are responsible for ensuring all content is appropriate.
All business Discords are to be owned by Overcast and will adhere to General Discord Guidelines as per the standard within the main Overcast Discord.
Business Management and Senior Staff of Overcast will be given moderation access for security purposes.
Disciplinary Actions:
Failure to abide by the above rules will result in disciplinary action, which would include but is not limited to:
Temporary shutdown.
Seizure of the business.
Reposessession of the business.
Blacklisting from whitelisted worker roles and/or ownership opoortunities.
Server rule violations will be handled by Overcast Staff, and actions taken by them will not exempt you from the additional disciplinary actions outlined above.
