As a member of a gang within the Overcast community it is important for you to understand the importance and level of maturity expected from you. Gang members are expected to stay up to date with the rules and continue
Gang Management will announce when Gang apps are open.
Gang Management has the ability to prevent individuals from joining an organisation based on their punishment history. If a player is required to be removed from an organisation, the Gang Management Team will be in contact with the leader.
The activities of every tagged member will reflect on the organisation and as such the organisation leader's will be held accountable for their members actions. Gang Management will assess the situation and assign actions accordingly.
If you're initiating hostile Gang v Gang, clothing must remain on 5 minutes before and after initiation.
Civilians are permitted to conduct heists and illegal activities with Gang members with the 6 person ruling. You are not too partake in hostile RP with Org members as a civilian if it is towards another Gang, Police or Gang based events/activities.
If you are an untagged member of an Gang you are only permitted to do hostile RP at a maxed limit of 6 people.
Gangs are permitted to have business relationships with each other, but are prohibited from joining forces in conflict. Gangs are prohibited from simultaneously targeting the same Gang with another group with the intention of creating overwhelming pressure and inability to play the server.
Gang hostility must be initiated verbally and have prior RP behind the shooting or kidnapping. This excludes conflict where there's a mutual agreement between both parties that there is a period of KOS for the 20 man hostile roster. In the event of kidnapping it must only involve organisation members. Civilians and un-tagged members must not interfere with.
For reporting/reports on gang's and members, Gang Management require a clip that shows the entire claim that is being reported and sent into your Gang Leaders Chat, this helps Gang Management determine the actions that then need to be taken. 3 minute clips is the standard rule applied otherwise it will not be actioned - Unless the clip supplied shows the whole interaction and is under 3 mins will be accepted.
Gang members are to use vehicles in their set colour. The only time this is not required is when visiting businesses and crafting locations where you can go in "Undercover/Blacked out" unless you are in current conflict/hostile RP.
If two Gangs have identical colours or clothing, Gang Management will need to be consulted to come to a resolution.
Purchasing of a Gang within city is prohibited. You are to discuss options with Gang Management for anything official. If found to be selling your Gang slot within Overcast will see you actioned accordingly.
Malicious reporting | Witch-hunting
If evidence of a rule break, disrespect behaviour or general misconduct was submitted at a much later date it is deemed a malicious report and will be voided due to withholding evidence and in some instances was still evaluated to the point that both parties received punishment. The initial report punishment will be reduced for malicious reporting by half or more of the guidelines ban time. The person submitting a malicious report will also receive punishment.
