Information regarding Orgs & Crews in Overcast.
As a member of an Organisation & Crew within the Overcast community it is important for you to understand the importance and level of maturity expected from you. You should strive for top tier roleplay to the best of your abilities. As a representative of the community in gaining access to running a crew or org you are held to a higher standard in understanding the rules and guidelines of this server.
When crew applications are opened by Org Management you are to apply to be given the chance to start your own crew. It is up to the discretion of Org Management on whether your application will be approved or not staff reserve the rights to deny any application depending on fairness and your record within the city. If you're approved you will be set up within both Org discords and will have a staff member from Org Management to discuss what the next steps are.
All gang staff are required to have access to any private organisation discords with access to all text/voice channels. No information obtained from any private discord will be communicated or shared, unless it violates any server/organisation rules. Any organisation's caught double-discording, metagaming during a war or hiding and using a private discord from staff will be actioned accordingly.
Org Management has the ability to prevent individuals from joining an organisation based on their punishment history. If a player is required to be removed from an organisation, the Org Management team will be in contact with the leader.
The activities of every tagged member will reflect on the organisation and as such the organisation leader's will be held accountable for their members actions. Org management staff will assess the situation and assign actions accordingly.
If you're initiating hostile Gang v Gang, clothing must remain on 5 minutes before and after intended.
Civilians are permitted to conduct heists and illegal activities with Gang members with the 6 person ruling. You are not too partake in hostile RP with Org members as a civilian if it is towards another Organisation, Police or organisation based events/activities.
If you are an untagged member of an organisation you are only permitted to do hostile RP at a maxed limit of 6 people.
Organisation's are permitted to have business relationships with each other, but are prohibited from joining forces in conflict. Orgs are prohibited from simultaneously targeting the same organisation with another group with the intention of creating overwhelming pressure and inability to play the server.
Org hostility must be initiated verbally and have significant prior RP behind the shooting or kidnapping. This excludes conflict where there's a mutual agreement between both parties that there is a period of KOS for the 20 man hostile roster. In the event of kidnapping it must only involve organisation members, civilians and un-tagged members must not interfere with.
For reporting/reports on organisation's and members, Org management require a clip that shows the entire claim that is being reported and sent into your Org Leaders Chat, this helps org management determine the actions that then need to be taken. 3 minute clips is the standard rule applied otherwise it will not be actioned - Unless the clip supplied shows the hole interaction and is under 3 mins will be accepted.
Org members are to use vehicles in their Organisations set colour. The only time this is not required is when visiting businesses and crafting locations where you can go in "Undercover/Blacked out" unless you are in current conflict/hostile RP.
If two Organisations have identical colours or clothing, Org management will need to be consulted to come to a resolution.
Purchasing of an Organisation within city is prohibited. You are to discuss options with Org Management for anything official. If found to be selling your Organisation slot within Overcast will see you actioned accordingly.
Once every 6 months Org management will open Rebrand Request submissions for a 2 week period.
Malicious reporting | Witch-hunting
If evidence of a rule break, disrespect behaviour or general misconduct was submitted at a much later date it is deemed a malicious report and will be voided due to withholding evidence and in some instances was still evaluated to the point that both parties received punishment. The initial report punishment will be reduced for malicious reporting by half or more of the guidelines ban time. The person submitting a malicious report will also receive punishment.

It is a privilege to represent a gang within the Overcast community. Org management expect each Org/Crew to uphold their part within the community. With that we ask for either of the following:
