Fail roleplay, Fail Fear & No Intent To Roleplay
FRP & NITRP
During your time within overcast you are to spend it valuing your life as if you would in the real world. This means you should portray every action and interaction as you would in real life to the best of a realistic ability. This includes fearing for your life when you are at a disadvantage, roleplaying injuries, taking precaution when driving or within your surroundings and keeping a distance away from active shoot outs.
Breaking character (OOC Talking): You are not to break character in any circumstances during any scenarios. If you find someone else within the same scenario breaks character, continue with the roleplay and then place either an in-city report or a support ticket with evidence. Approaching civ's in city that you know who are staff and speak to them in OOC terms breaking immersion can also see you be actioned.
GTA driving (Reckless driving): Ramming people, ramming your car in buildings, driving it off cliffs
Attempting to counteract guns: If you are being held at gun point to be kept as hostage or robbed, you cannot hero your way out of this by then attempting to discharge your own weapon. You must fear for your life accordingly. This also includes if you are stationary in a vehicle and have a gun aimed at yourself by someone/group of people.
Unrealistic scenario's: Baiting or trying to interfere with a scenario that involves Org members/Police especially if you are outnumbered.
Unrealistic roleplay: Jumping off buildings, ocean dumping your vehicle to avoid police, running into whitelisted jobs to avoid hostile RP, running Infront of moving vehicles intentionally
Interjecting: interjecting into other sits that you were not involved in from when the sit began, this is a form of fail roleplay and creates an unfair advantage to who were at the start of the sit.
No Intent To Roleplay
NITRP is an actionable offence within Overcast, you are to participate in any roleplay scenario that you are in at all times. If you are seen or reported to be performing behaviours that align with NITRP you will be actioned. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Failing to roleplay injuries and interact with AV.
Failing to respond to roleplay with Police.
Failing to respond to hostile Rp (This includes pretending to be AFK when being taken hostage or held at gun point).
Fail Fear
In all roleplay scenario's you are too value your life, take precautions with threats or dangerous scenes. If you're found to be in a hostile RP scene where your character's life is on the line and you are at a disadvantage, you must adhere to all demands/requests being made.
This includes but is not limited to the following:
Committing a violent act against a group that has you outnumbered and has already shown their intent to do harm.
Using a communication device to call for help when you are already held against your will.
Fleeing when surrounded by a group that has communicated that they will do harm, including law enforcement that have escalated to lethal force.
Jumping from a fatal height to flee.
Remaining in the area of an ongoing shootout in such a way that puts you in danger.
